The project kicks off on 1st March, reporting back at the end of June; watch this space for updates.

TCV (UK) Ltd, “The Customer’s Voice”,  yesterday signed an agreement to become an early provider of added value buying applications and services within the Mydex Personal Data Store Ecosystem. Under this agreement, it will work closely with Mydex CIC to a joint timetable for the development and launch of these new services and the Mydex facilities to support them. TCV (UK) Ltd will also assist Mydex CIC with proposition development for some of the early Mydex core services.

Andy Coleman, Chairman of TCV (UK) Ltd, said:

” This is a further development of our partnership with Mydex and builds on from our agreement in June 2010 to licence the TCV Person-Centric Data Architecture to Mydex. We expect the launch of our new buyer-centric services to be an exemplar of how entrepreneurially developed services can be brought to market with “Mydex Inside”.

William Heath, Chairman of Mydex CIC, said:

“This is Mydex’s first “fourth party services” agreement for the provision of services provided direct to the individual based on personal data supplied by the individual on terms friendly to the individual, TCV was an early pioneer in conceiving the personal data ecosystem, so it’s entirely appropriate that Mydex’s first fourth party services agreement should be with TCV. It underlines and formalises a deep symbiotic relationship.”

Congratulations to Mydex CIC on the launch of the Mydex Community Prototype. And also to the various large organisations bold enough to sign up.

TCV is a participant, and Andy Coleman, Chairman of TCV (UK) Ltd (“The Customer’s Voice”), said:

“The launch of a Mydex personal data store provides a fundamental building-block of the future web world in which users will be at the centre of their own set of supply relationships and have much more control over how companies and government organisations gain access to them to provide products and services and to serve their needs.  We are proud to have played a part in the thinking that led to the founding of Mydex CIC as the key trusted third party needed to catalyse the emergence of such services and also to have developed and provided the personal data architecture on which the Mydex service will be based.Â
